This kit is designed to address a common issue with the Hyundai Ioniq 28/38 kWh EV reduction gearbox.
Field experience shows that the original bearings may fail even after 15,000 km of operation.
With this kit, you can replace the damaged bearings in the reduction gearbox without the need to replace the entire gearbox, significantly reducing repair costs.

- KIA / Hyundai Original Tapered bearings - 2 pcs.
- SKF Ball bearings - 4 pcs.

Important Maintenance Note
⚠️ NB! We strongly recommend changing the oil every 20,000–30,000 km, depending on driving conditions, load, and climate.
Regular oil replacement ensures optimal lubrication, reduces wear and thermal stress on internal components, and extends the overall service life of the reduction gearbox.
This cost-effective maintenance procedure helps prevent premature component failure and reduces long-term repair costs.

Exactly as described. All in sealed or well packaged boxes branded Hyundai / Korea. Four of the bearings are easy to source from any supplier but the two taper bearings and the three oil seals are impossible to find anywhere else. Life saver

We have rebuilt a lot of these engines with standard SKF ball bearings and they run very quietly compared to the original, but after a while the damage to the bearing race occurs from the current passing through the bearing. Now we have used chemical bearings and are very satisfied with the solution.
